DASHCAM
1. How is the dash cam powered?
All Spedal dash cams are powered through the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket using the included DC power adapter. However, the power design of cigarette chargers can vary by each car model. We recommend that you refer to your vehicle's user manual or conduct a test for more detailed information.
2. Where is the video data from the dash cam stored?
The video data is stored on an SD or Micro SD memory card.
3. Can the dash cam record at different resolutions?
Most models support changing the recording resolution. You can adjust the settings in the dash cam's menu.
4. Does the dash cam record when the vehicle is parked?
The dash cam will only record when the vehicle is powered. If the vehicle is turned off and the cigarette lighter socket cannot provide power, you will need to hardwire the dash cam or use a portable power source to continue recording.
5. How do I disable audio recording?
You can turn off the audio recording option in the settings menu.
6. How do I view the videos I've recorded?
- Enter playback mode by pressing the "MODE" button and watch directly on the dash cam.
- Remove the SD or Micro SD card from the dash cam and insert it into a TV or computer.
- Connect the dash cam to a computer using the included USB cable. The dash cam will enter mass storage mode (supported by some models), allowing it to function as a USB flash drive.
7. Do I need to manually turn on the dash cam every time I start the vehicle?
No, the dash cam will automatically turn on and start recording once the cigarette lighter plug is powered.
8. How do I "save" video files while driving?
Recorded video files are automatically saved to the SD or Micro SD card. When the storage card is full, the loop recording function will automatically overwrite the oldest footage. To ensure a specific video file is not overwritten, simply back it up.
9. How do I use the suction cup mount for the dash cam?
Determine the position on the windshield, press the suction cup lever, and firmly press the center of the mount to expel any air trapped between the mount and the windshield. Applying a small amount of moisture to the suction cup can increase its grip. However, a significant temperature difference between the suction cup and the windshield can reduce the suction power.
10. I keep receiving a "memory card full" message. Isn't my dash cam supposed to loop record?
Due to features like the G-sensor, parking monitor, or impact recording, the dash cam may store some emergency recordings that the loop recording function cannot overwrite. Please format your Micro SD card on your computer and set the G-sensor/parking monitor functions to low sensitivity or turn them off for testing.

You can email our customer service team at support@spedaltech.comwith your Spedal dash cam model, the accessories you need, and your shipping address. We will promptly inform you of the costs and how to proceed with the purchase of the accessories.
